Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1)

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him (Hebrews 11:6)

Faith is “complete trust or confidence in someone or something” (Oxford Dictionary).

To believe is to “accept that (something) is true, especially without proof.” (Oxford Dictionary).

We all have a choice to make…it’s an individual choice, you make it for yourself either consciously or subconsciously, and you can’t make the choice for someone else.

Will you believe what the Bible states?
Will you believe in God? Will you put your faith in God?

YES or NO?

  • The Bible is written and given to us by God (in order that we would know him)
  • God created the world
  • God created you
  • God created you to have a relationship with him and longs for you to acknowledge and seek him
  • God loves you
  • Your wrongdoing (your sin) separates you from God
  • We have all sinned, no-one is exempt
  • Your wrongdoing (your sin) requires that you die and that you will not be able to be with God after you die
  • God loves you so much he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to this world as a human, where his whole purpose was to come and die in your place for your sin, which he did
  • Jesus Christ, after he died in your place, was resurrected from the dead
  • Jesus Christ, after his resurrection, ascended into heaven from earth where he is now
  • Jesus Christ is coming back to this earth to reign
  • In the future there will be a new heaven and a new earth – this earth will be destroyed – where God will dwell together with those who have believed in him in this life
  • If you admit you are a sinner and your need of God, confess your sin to God and ask him for forgiveness, believe and accept that Jesus died for you on the cross and rose from the grave, and invite Jesus to come into and control your life, your sins will be forgiven and removed by God, you are given eternal life, God will live in you by his Holy Spirit and when you die you will be with God. God’s Spirit who lives in you will transform you to become like God in your nature and actions, if you allow him to.
  • After you physically die, you will come before God who will judge you for your acceptance or rejection of him when you lived on earth and all your actions, thoughts, secrets and motives
  • If you reject and do not believe in God, you be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur

Do you doubt this is true?
What if it is true?
Read the Bible for yourself, starting with the New Testament. Read every book of the New Testament before confirming your decision to believe in God or not. Don’t base your decision on hearsay or a feeling – read the Bible for yourself. If it’s not true, they will be words on a page, just a philosophy. If it is true, you will meet God as you read.
